SEDONA’S KOKOPELLI SUITES IS “THINKING PINK” BY PLEDGING FUNDS TO THE NATIONAL BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION

Sedona, Ariz. (October 1, 2011) – Kokopelli Suites, a “Best of Sedona” hotel winner for three years in a row and winner of TripAdvisor’s “Certificate of Excellence,” is pleased to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation throughout the month of October as part of its 12 Months of Giving Campaign. Through the campaign, Kokopelli Suites will donate one dollar for every new Facebook “Like” (www.facebook.com/kokopellisuites) or Twitter follower (@KokopelliSuites), up to $500. Kokopelli Suites has also paired up with local tour operator, Pink Jeep Tours to offer the “Pink Package,” a combination hotel stay and jeep tour starting at $209 a night. For every “Pink Package” booked, this Sedona hotel will donate five dollars to the organization. “Breast Cancer is a terrible disease that unfortunately many of us have had experience with. Everyone knows someone who has suffered through treatment or sadly lost their lives to it. (August 1, 2011) – Kokopelli Suites, a “Best of Sedona” hotel winner for three years in a row and winner of TripAdvisor’s “Certificate of Excellence,” is pleased to select the Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity as August’s charity of choice for the 12 Months of Giving Campaign.  Through the campaign, Kokopelli Suites will donate one dollar for every new Facebook “Like” (www.facebook.com/kokopellisuites) or Twitter follower (@KokopelliSuites), up to $500.  Additionally, for every reservation made in August using the special promo code HABITAT, Kokopelli Suites will donate five dollars to the organization.  Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with families in need to build simple decent, affordable housing.  The houses are sold to partnering families at no profit and with no interest charged; partner families invest hundreds of hours of labor “sweat equity” into building their homes and the homes of others.  Locally, Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity placed two families in the last fiscal year; since 1995 the chapter has completed and dedicated 11 homes.

These two outstanding organizations benefit the 10,000 children that Arizona has in its foster program yearly as well as the thousands of children that suffer from child abuse and neglect across the state. Kokopelli Suites announced today that it will host a 12 Months of Giving campaign through calendar year 2011. The campaign will focus on a different cause and charity each month. The hotel will donate $1 per new Twitter follower or Facebook friend each month to the appointed charity for the month. Monthly social media contribution will be capped at $500. In addition, the Sedona hotel will also create monthly specials aligned with the chosen charity and a portion of each reservation’s proceeds will be donated as well. There is no cap on this amount.
