Sedona, Ariz. (June 1, 2011) – The staff, management and owners of Kokopelli Suites, a “Best of Sedona” hotel winner for three years in a row, are pleased to announce that Sedona-based nonprofit, Camp Soaring Eagle (CSE), is June’s charity of choice for the 12 Months of Giving Campaign.  Through the campaign, Kokopelli Suites will donate one dollar for every new Facebook “Like” (www.facebook.com/kokopellisuites) or Twitter follower (@KokopelliSuites), up to $500.  Additionally, for every reservation made in June using the special promo code CAMP, Kokopelli Suites will donate five dollars to the organization.  Every year, Camp Soaring Eagle provides free-of-charge camping experiences for hundreds of children and their families struggling with critical illnesses, with the goal to help them discover the healing power of laughter, play, excitement and challenge, all in a medically safe setting.

The 12 Months of Giving Campaign was started by the Kokopelli Suites Management company, Mayo Hotel Management.  The company chooses a different charity each month that they feel is under represented and through monthly social media campaigns, shares the charity’s message.  Camp Soaring Eagle joins a fantastic group of organizations that have receive donations so far this year including Arizona State Parks Foundation, Arizona Children’s Association, Project Carmel, Verde Valley Sanctuary and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Arizona.
